About the role:

We’re on the hunt for a passionate media salesperson to join the team at LiSTNR, Australia’s largest reaching digital audio network, as a Digital Account Manager. This role is crucial tothe continued growth of LiSTNR, with the successful applicant proudly utlising an endless range of content-led and data driven solutions through the power of a dynamic, market-leading platform.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maximise digital revenue across all SCA products including LiSTNR streaming and Podcasts, SoundCloud, Sonos Radio, social media & video.
  • Develop new digital clients and build retention strategies across key agency patch
  • Collaborate with radio sales teams to develop multi-platform advertising solutions
  • Ensure digital budgets are met on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with internal department and external clients
  • Above all, be the face of the LiSTNR brand among your client patch and have fun doing it

Experience we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years media experience in a sales or client focused role
  • Established relationships in the Sydney media agency market
  • High level understanding of the media landscape
  • Understanding of programmatic transactions & audience segmentation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt using a range of styles, tools and techniques appropriate to customers both internally and externally.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Superior presentation skills and able to deliver solution and customer focused communication.

    MCN currently has a vacancy for an Account Manager within the Digital team in Sydney. MCN Digital is Australia’s largest combined online and mobile publisher. Each month MCN Digital reaches a unique online audience of 8.2million, 4.7million mobile UVs, generates over 11 million video streams and boasts the largest IPTV distribution across Australia.
     
    The Digital Account Manager will be responsible for maximizing digital revenue for MCN across a wide portfolio of sites such as FOX SPORTS, AFL, BigPond, Lifestyle, Sky News and E! The Digital Account Manager is required to develop and service relationships with digital agencies and key clients to provide strategic and creative sales opportunities across the MCN digital platform. 
     
    The broad responsibilities for this role include:
     
    • Reaching revenue targets each month and quarter; including personal targets, team targets and site targets.
    • Build and nurture relationships with Digital agencies and ensure that campaigns deliver value.
    • Proactively develop timely and relevant briefs with new, creative and sellable ideas.
    • Acquire new advertisers and retain existing advertisers.
    • Demonstrate teamwork by working effectively and liaising with internal departments as well as external parties.
    • Effectively manage a co-ordinator by monitoring performance against targets and KPI’s, conducting regular performance reviews and planning and executing formal and informal training.
    • Ensure booking schedules are accurate and oversee campaign delivery and post analysis
    • Being proactive in sourcing opportunities to address revenue needs.
    • Track revenue against targets.

    We are looking for a talented and driven individual who is passionate, knowledgeable and excited about the digital space. This role would ideally suit someone who has had substantial (3+) experience in Digital advertising and/or a similar role. 
     
    To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following attributes:
     
    • Technical understanding and capability
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs
    • Ability to present to individuals and groups and construct excellent documentation supporting responses to brief and proactive proposals
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both externally and internally
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise, time manage and multi-task
