Brown Brothers Teams With Gelato Messina For Prosecco Flavoured Gelato
Brown Brothers and Gelato Messina have partnered to celebrate the ‘it’ drink of summer, creating a limited edition Prosecco Rosé gelato as part of the brand’s ‘Let’s Go’ campaign, developed by Communicado.
The end result – which Messina chefs said was inspired by Prosecco cocktails like the Peach Bellini – is a gelato combining blood peach, lychee cream, and rose puree flavours.
Free scoops of the limited edition range will be available across Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney (sorry, everyone else), with the Victorian capital being the first to sample the Prosecco Rosé gelato this Friday, 21 January at St Kilda Beach.
Fourth generation Brown family member, Emma Brown, said the partnership was exciting as it allowed more people to sample the Prosecco Rosé flavour this summer.
“We wanted to partner with a like-minded tastemaker who crafts products to excite consumers as we do,” she said.
“Prosecco Rosé is the perfect summer wine, so it was a very easy decision to partner with Gelato Messina on a summer gelato collaboration.”
Brown Brothers appointed Melbourne based, integrated communications agency, Communicado, as its public relations partner following a competitive pitch mid-2021.
Brown said she was impressed, not only by Communicado’s “exceptional understanding” of the category’s insights and trends, but also the team’s passion for the “creative territories and strategies” they’ve developed.
Brown Family Wine Group communications manager, Amy van Bekkum said: “The creative territories and strategies Communicado presented made it clear to us that public relations will be central to our marketing strategy.
“The team understood what will make us stand out in the category and how we can connect with our audience in an engaging way.”
