History Will Be Kind Hoovers Up Godfreys’ Comms
Comms agency History Will Be Kind (HWBK) has won the communications for Godfreys in Australia and New Zealand, following a competitive pitch process.
The agency will be tasked with developing an integrated communications strategy spanning PR, influencers and creative content, to contemporise the brand, increase awareness, and drive in-store foot and online traffic, delivered via an always-on press office and creative campaigns.
The agency’s remit will include both consumer and corporate PR, to support Godfreys as it undergoes an exciting business and brand transformation, with a focus on revitalising the brand and its reputation amongst a wider and younger target audience.
Nathan Dixon, head of marketing at Godfreys, commented on the appointment, “Godfreys has been a trusted and much loved household name for 90 years. As we look towards the future we recognise there is a significant opportunity to enhance awareness and broaden the appeal of our offering in the ANZ market with both loyal and new customers”.
